Here’s what you can order with your Vivint home system
Unlike rival home security companies, Vivint’s security and automation systems are available to renters. Here are some of the most popular components and services:
Burglary prevention
Motion alarms and window sensors can notify you when an uninvited guest enters your rental unit. Receive a notification to your smartphone when an device goes off, or manage your components remotely to let in guests or maintenance when you’re not home.
Fire and safety detectors
Smoke detectors should come as part of your rental unit, but you may not get other environmental detectors. Hang a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or water sensor to warn you and your monitoring agents to problems before it’s too late.
Security cameras
Your security cameras can be wirelessly installed so you can keep an eye on indoor rooms. A doorbell camera allows you view -- and converse with -- visitors at the door. Get live HD feeds and texts about suspicious movement through the Vivint App.
24/7 monitoring
A great benefit of going with Vivint is the monitoring agents backing up tripped alarms. When a device goes off, your monitoring agents quickly notifies you to make sure you’re safe. Then they’ll quickly contact the fire or police departments.
Automation devices
Home automation components, such as smart bulbs, can be added to make your rental home or apartment more eco-friendly. Some components like a replacement thermostat or smart door locks may require prior landlord approval.
The Vivint App
Your Denver security system can be adjusted anywhere with the Vivint App. View HD camera feeds, remotely turn on and off components, or program rules for all your smart devices. Then receive texts to your mobile device if a sensor triggers or a security camera picks up unsavory activity.
